BIOGRAPHY
Jesse Faber was born in Amsterdam, Holland in 1973. He studied Cinematography at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague where he received his BFA cum laude in 1999. Being trained as a cinematographer, Jesse Faber gradually developed himself as a truly multimedial artist. His work can be divided into 4 main disciplines: Directing, Painting, Acting and Photographing.
Director
In 1999 Jesse Faber received the Warner Brothers Award for his graduation film at the Dutch Film Festival. Since then Mr. Faber has worked as TV and Film director for almost all major networks in Holland. Presently Jesse directs various shows for MTV networks and is working on a screenplay for his first feature film. Working as a freelance director has given him the opportunity to develop his other skills.
Painter
Being classically educated as a portrait painter, Jesse Faber’s work is always based on reality. He has been greatly influenced by the paintings of the old masters; he combines them with modern materials such as cardboard boxes and industrial resin paint. Jesse showed his work in expositions in Amsterdam, Paris and Naples, Florida, where he is represented by the HW gallery.
